easy access friendly staff spacious room
The hotel location offered easy access to many restaurants. The staff seemed very friendly and helpful . My standard double room felt spacious.

Excellent Location and Friendly Staff

I found the location convenient for exploring. The hotel is close to several train and bus stations, made visiting tourist attractions simple. Many restaurants are nearby, including various international options (I particularly enjoyed the Indian restaurants).
The sound insulation could have been better, as I occasionally heard noises from neighboring rooms.

The staff was consistently friendly and efficient. The staff were very quick to offer assistance. I had a positive experience with their support, especially when I needed help with directions and local recommendations.

excellent stay in central location
central location helpful staff complimentary sake
the hotel provided a great location for exploring the area. i found it very convenient with shopping and attractions close by. the front desk staff was always cheerful and helpful (i loved their smiles!). i really enjoyed the complimentary sake each night, such a nice bonus.
I did find the room a bit small. There was barely enough space to move around comfortably with luggage.

large room great bathtub small room bed against the wall
the room was large by Japanese standards. it had a great bathtub.
i understand that most hotels in the area provide small rooms, and this was no exception. the bed WAS pushed against the wall, so one person had to crawl out at any one time.

poor sound insulation banging noises
the sound insulation was terrible. i could hear everything happening in nearby rooms. banging noises at night and early in the morning made sleep nearly impossible. i really think they should address this poor soundproofing issue. maybe thicker walls or better insulation would do the trick.
