I found the location convenient for exploring. The hotel is close to several train and bus stations, made visiting tourist attractions simple. Many restaurants are nearby, including various international options (I particularly enjoyed the Indian restaurants).
The sound insulation could have been better, as I occasionally heard noises from neighboring rooms.

The hotel offers complimentary coffee , available 24 hours (a great perk!). From 4 PM to 10 PM, guests can also enjoy a complimentary glass of sake each evening. The hotel also provides luggage forwarding services to other hotels.

the hotel provided a great location for exploring the area. i found it very convenient with shopping and attractions close by. the front desk staff was always cheerful and helpful (i loved their smiles!). i really enjoyed the complimentary sake each night, such a nice bonus.
I did find the room a bit small. There was barely enough space to move around comfortably with luggage.

the room was large by Japanese standards. it had a great bathtub.
i understand that most hotels in the area provide small rooms, and this was no exception. the bed WAS pushed against the wall, so one person had to crawl out at any one time.

poor sound insulationbanging noises
the sound insulation was terrible. i could hear everything happening in nearby rooms. banging noises at night and early in the morning made sleep nearly impossible. i really think they should address this poor soundproofing issue. maybe thicker walls or better insulation would do the trick.
